We started the day by drawing a MegaBlok on paper. We went over how to get to the PC side of the Macs (hold down the Option key while it boots up). Then made a DropBox folder and shared it with Mr. Nystrom (niceguystrom@gmail.com). Then, without much tutoring we made it using Google SketchUp. Results were saved in the DropBox for grading. Finally, I ran through making the block on AutoCAD Inventor in the last 5 minutes.
Here is a web page to remember http://curriculum.autodesk.com/student/public/index/index Level 1, Digital Study Pack, Inventor. This is straight from the manufacture and has lots of short videos on how to use Inventor. It's not too helpful, but does cover the basics.
